The heat pipe heat sink is designed around the core element of a heat pipe, and is comprised of a heat pipe, zipper fin, and copper plate. It effectively addresses heat dissipation challenges arising from limited space or highly concentrated heat. The zipper fin, crafted from stamped aluminum material, is folded into a shape featuring interlocking slots. This design allows for the transfer of high thermal energy and offers over 3000 different configurations. The zipper fin provides a larger surface area, more flexible design, and a more stable structure compared to extruded fins. This enables very high fin density and length-width ratio, resulting in increased surface area and improved cooling. Additionally, zipper fins enhance design flexibility, particularly for assemblies integrating heat pipes, fans, or blowers.
